Bought these in XXL prior to a trip to Alaska in July 2008. I normally wear an XL, but these fit very comfortably with the exception that the thumbs are about 1/2 inch too long. Very well made and fit well with the 90w jacket liner and the dual heat controller as a unit. These are great in dry weather; if you wear them in the rain you will need some sort of outer shell. When they get wet they are not effective, and you will likely pull the liner out with a damp hand - putting the liner back in is a very unpleasant experience. By the way, the heating elements do cover the thumbs as well.
