Tracy (bader67) from Brooks, AB, CA, for a 01 VStar 1100 Classic, 04 750 Aero, 97 VLX 600 1100 V-Star Classic wrote: Look great. Ordered +2 with my pull back risers and rstd bars. These bypass the splitter under the triple tree. Removed the guide as well since these are not likely to flex or bind like rubber lines can. If you can feel your rubber lines flexing in your hand when you apply the brake - you need new lines, regardless of whether you choose rubber or stainless steel braided. RCCola (RCCola45) from Colfax, WI, United States, for a 2005 1100 V-Star Silverado wrote: Removed old fluid, removed stock lines, install went fine although the top line had a 30 degree fitting and other end was straight, stock was straight on both ends ... the 30 degree fitting went on top to the brake reservoir. I removed the lower brackets with the reflectors ... kinda a pain in the butt. I got a 12oz bottle of Dot 4 fluid and I had about half left over. Filled reservoir and started bleeding. Didn't take long to get fluid flowing but pressure was not buiding up so I tied the lever back and left it sit overnight. Next morning ... I pumped lever and opened up each banjo bolt just enough to let some fluid come out. Start at the top and work your way down. Then I blead the bleeder valve 2-3 times on each side and then pumped lever and had pressure. The top one had a tad bit of air that was released. Review Details Was this review helpful to you?
