(1 stars) reviewed on 03/21/08 byJim H. (Hasstedt) from Bothell (unincorporated), WA, United States, for a 2007 1100 V-Star Silverado wrote: I just went to put this on my bike today, and as soon as I tightened down the nylon zip tie, the locking tab broke off the zip tie rendering it useless. It's embedded in the plastic case, so it's not a simple matter of sliding it out and replacing it. I ended up snipping off the broken zip tie, filing a couple grooves in the outer sides of the plastic case, and attaching it with a heavier duty zip tie over the grooves to help keep it from sliding around. I can't say yet whether it actually functions or not. Update: There was one primary traffic light that I bought this to trigger, and after all that it doesn't do a thing. I end up sitting there until a car comes to join me and trigger the light. Grrrr. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Put it on in less than one minute, jumped on the bike and rode down to my favorite light, the one I have to run every time I get caught at it. Pulled up, just knowing I would be stuck again, but the light changed. First time ever. Review Details 3 out of 3 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
