So, I bought this so that people could actually see me braking during the day and as added visibility at night. I got the clear version (lights up red) and it is very bright and very visible. Those I ride with were on my butt to get a more visible brake light, and they all approve of this one. Looks great, still blends with everything....only one little problem overall, and that is not to overtighten screws, because my plastic did crack. did a quick JB Weld and its good to go. Wiring was a little tricky. Had to remove the brake light assembly and the licence plate mounting bracket. Routed wire behind license plate into the assembly, inside the rear fender and then to the brake light assembly. Wires in brake light assembly are very short--added a small piece of wire to extend them a little. Put it all back together and it looks good! Took about 2 hours. Seems very bright inside my garage.
