You can actually carry on a conversation while wearing without feeling like you need to shout. Much better than the regular soft ear plugs that you have to roll so you can fit it in your ears. The hearos fit better and last a long time. Perfect when you wear a half face helmet that doesn't cover your ears. They just slide into place instead of twisting them to shrink then sliding them into you ear. I find wetting them SLIGHTLY helps them slide into the ear easier.
