(5 stars) reviewed on 08/22/06 byWrongturn (mangas) from Norman, OK, United States, for a 2002 Illusion Blue 1800 VTX1800R (Retro) wrote: A nice improvement over the Hopnel Triple Pouch it replaced. The Tri-Pouch bags are mounted at two points, which allows the backing to maintain the windshield's curve. The Hopnel pouches are completely attached, which causes the backing to buckle and pull away from the windshield. Also, the metal clasps on the Tri-Pouch are more secure than the Hopnel Velcro fasteners. A snap to install. The Tri-Pouch is a little deeper than the Hopnel, so there is less room for a steeply raked windshield, unless the height is raised to clear the bars. You'll need to drill your own holes and cut upside down "V's" in the bag mount to accomodate the vertical windshield supports. Review Details 2 out of 4 members found this review helpful.
