I followed the advice of others and took off the chrome on the inner inner ring and then glued them on. It took longer to clean the chrome off than it did to install them. As everyone else has said, throw away the two-sided tape. I used liquid nail glue to install mine. It appears to be holding just fine so far. Looks pretty sharp to be plastic. I sanded and glued them to the plastic turn signal lenses. I used the glue from the Kuryakyn grips. I am not a fan of taping parts to my ride and they match up better without the tape.
