(3 stars) reviewed on 11/13/09 byKari Dianich (networkchiro) from Decatur, GA, United States, for a 2005 750 Shadow Aero wrote: It's good for the price. Had it 4 years and still going. The right vent cover fell off last year and I finally got a replacement visor due to scratches. I'm pretty hard on it, and no helmet bag. I could never feel any difference with the vents open or closed. That's disappointing but common in this price range in my experience. I wear it more in the cold. But it's been fairly durable and the pearl white is nice looking. The chin bar and visor mechanisms still work, but the chin bar releases kind of hard in year 4. I've had to tighten/replace the screws over the years (expected). The padding still feels fresh, new and just as snug. I would pay extra for a chin wind guard! I installed a sun visor. So I'll be buying a Nolan that has everything I want next time, but it's $100 more. I would buy this again if I wanted to stay in the same price range. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? (4 stars) reviewed on 06/11/08 bypeter jones (freightliner) from austin, TX, for a red 06 honda 750 Shadow Aero wrote: For the price I paid it is ok but it needs extra padding in the cheek area. I love the flip up module. I can ride at slow speeds or raise it up when at a red light to reduce the heat buildup. Just with I had the silver one, blacks a little hot. Got mine from a friend who didn't like it so he kept it in his closet for awhile then sold it to me after a clean out. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(4 stars) reviewed on 09/27/06 byRic (racoonrcr) from Columbia, PA, United States, for a 2006 750 Shadow Aero wrote: Comfortable and very easy to put eyeglasses on while wearing helmet. There is some wind noise but it is not near the amount you have with a 3/4 helmet. The shield tends to fog up when stopped unless you crack it open, anti-fog spray helps. (5 stars) reviewed on 05/31/06 byMichael Shelley (live4him) from Chesterfield, MO, United States, for a 2005 Silver/Black 750 Shadow Aero wrote: I needed to replace my CL-14 because I bounced it off the pavement in a minor spill last fall. Decided to go with the flip-face and really like it a lot. I wear my half-helmet more often, but will definitely use the CL-Max when it colder outside. There is a little wind noise that comes through it, but it's not too bad. I got this for under $140 at www.newenough.com. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(4 stars) reviewed on 04/03/06 byChance (chancemeeting69) from Cincinnati, OH, United States, for a 2005 pearl blue/black 750 Shadow Aero wrote: Thanks CruiserCustomizing. Shiny black. Nice helmet with a nice fit for my head. With this helmet, I feel much more secure on the road. I love the feeling of just being in my own world with my own sounds. Now, I can stare at the cager and even say some choice words without them attempting to run me down...LOL Still getting used to turning my head to verify that a cager is not sitting in my blind spot. Otherwise, great investment. BTW: I own a !/2 to 3/4 HJC Helmet in a Medium. Strangely, I am glad that I ordered this in a XL. Fits well and does not swing around on my head. I have one made by HJC and one by Vega. I paid only $150 for each one at my local Honda dealer. The style is very nice if you're considering a full face helmet.
