Needed a place to plug in chargable items. This doesn't take up much room, and seals tight when not in use. It installs in the left glove box at the front. Good to have if your on the road and your cell phone battery dies.

This is one of those accessories you dont "see", but can be invaluable. Originally I got it for the cigarette lighter and to charge up the cell phone. You can use any 12 volt accessory in it. It does not come with a cigarette "lighter". In fact, no lighter I have tried will work in it. The socket is slightly larger than any lighter. All the accessories have a "spring loaded" plug that fits snug in the socket. Does anyone know where I can get a lighter that will work in this socket? The auto parts stores don't carry anything that will work.
