This one, not so good. Jams easily very suseptable to road conditions and suspension settings. If the road is smooth and the suspension set right plays will good sound. However if the road is slightly uneven, or shocks too stiff/soft the CDs jam. if you're leaning in a turn and the CD changes disks it jams. holds 6 but can't put anymore than 3 (in the 1-3 position) or it jams. found ways to clear the jam. but went through 3 players before I figured out how to clear it myself. Stay with the iPods, MP3, satelite radios. stay away from this one. Put your money into an amp.

I do not mind loading the trunk over the CD player (This blocks access to the player). By the time I have listened to all six cds, I have forgotten what was on the first one so I can listen to them all at least three times before I have to put in new cds.

straight up bitch to install, and you have to install the cb player first.... but afterwards, I love it.... well worth the work..... wish it was a ten disc player... and had I been informed earlier, I wouldn't bought it, I would have just installed an MP3 player which you just have to plug it..... not too late....

MY Hondaline CD player works well even going over bumps-no skipping. Just wish it had a fast foward/reverse feature. To replay a portion of a song you have to restart the track. Use the CD player a lot and keep 6 CD's stored. Have not had problems mentioned by other owners. Do not force/push CD's when loading. Take the time to load/unload one CD at a time. With required mounting kit-expensive. Dealer installed.

This was one of those items that really ticked me off. First, I wanted it because it is the Honda factory unit, and would work with all the buttons and knobs and such. Next, i thought that a CD changer would be a great way to bring my own music with us on rides. Needless to say that everything you need is not included, and it cost a bloody fortune. (but not the $1199 price tag that I see here!) The first unit I had (key word "first") lasted about 20 days before it ate all 6 of my CDs. It was 2 days before a big ride to San Francisco and I was peeved. Took the whole thing to my dealer, and they were great. Took it out and replaced it with another unit. Now, this is where I found out that most of these units are "reconditioned!" Well, the one they gave me worked, but I never got my CDs back (after several phone calls promising me I would. Good-bye to Frank Sinatra, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Oingo Boingo.

I have had to replace this unit twice since I purchase the bike in Oct 2002. Nothing sucks worse than being stuck listening to music you don't like when in unfamiliar areas on a long ride! Problems when played more than four hours! You must give it a rest!

Dealer installed. I love to ride with music. I can't belive I didn't have this on any bike before my goldwing. Music doesnt skip unless you hit something really hard to make it do that.

Works very well. Much better than previous models. Does not skip even on rough roads. Only down side is that you can't burn CD's for use in it as they are too thick.
