My sissybar came with the bike, but it's a pre '99 style sissybar (since it's a '98 bike) The backrest and the sissybar work fine. However, instead of being connected as pictured above, with extra bolt holes for luggage rack or saddlebag stand-offs, the chrome on mine is solid.
