(4 stars) reviewed on 09/04/08 byfrom Dallas, GA, United States, for a '07 Black - Everything but the airbag 1500 SE wrote: Well...it's about the most expensive CB Radio I've ever had, but it does work well and interfaces with the handlebar controls quite nicely. I wouldn't say it's anywhere near worth the price they want for it, but it gets the job done. Review Details 20 out of 24 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(1 stars) reviewed on 06/23/07 byNat Archer from North East, PA, United States, for a 2002 Illusion Blue 1800 wrote: This thing is INSANELY overpriced!! But if you ride with groups, they'll want you to have one. Not easy to install either. If you do not have confidence in doing it, don't! The raange is deploreable, but not because of the radio, but the lack of a suitable ground plane. Best you'll get is about 2 miles. No skipland for you! Don't buy it if you really don't need it! (3 stars) reviewed on 05/11/07 byShane from Tracy, CA, United States, for a 2001 Black 1800 wrote: Installed this one myself. Nice for bike to bike but don't expect to talk to truckers 20 miles away not enough metal on the bike to help the power output (ground plane thing). These run on a different frequency range than the FRS GMRS or the chatterbox style. (that don't talk to each other) Found it helpful for group rides and info on road conditions. Nice to have but not really a must have. Review Details 7 out of 8 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
