But if you ride with groups, they'll want you to have one. Not easy to install either. If you do not have confidence in doing it, don't! The raange is deploreable, but not because of the radio, but the lack of a suitable ground plane. Best you'll get is about 2 miles. No skipland for you! Don't buy it if you really don't need it! Way over priced and should be an accessory that comes on the bike for the money the bike cost.... The hook ups should be plug and play inside the trunk and you should not have to remove nothing but the seat..... The range of this thing stinks...... Honda ought to be ashamed of themselves......
