This allows you to lean back more and have less tension on you back and shoulders. I purchased a set of Phatrisers from Scoot works. They come in 4", 5" amd 8". I chose the 4" which raised the bars 1.5 inches up and moved the bars back 2". This helped me immensely on longer rides as well as my daily commute. The Scoot works come with the risers, caps, upper riser bolts and install bolts. The also come in polished, chrome or black. You have to loosen you upper pinch bolts and remove the triple tree cap. Put a cloth over you tank so the bars don't scratch it. Raise the triple tree and route your wires behind the triple tree and tap the triple tree back into place, a rubber mallet helps. If your working on a Sabre, your headlight will fall foward since it is on rubber bushing between the upper triple tree and lower triple tree. Had dealer verify that they did not match the picture and returned them. Ordered Cobra risers.
