(4 stars) reviewed on 03/04/09 by(kevinw1958) from , IN, United States, for a 2007 1300 VTX1300R (S) Retro wrote: Very nervous drilling the hole. Didn't have a 7mm drill bit, used 1/4 inch instead. Worked fine. Looks fantastic. Hated paying $100.00 for this small piece of chrome, but I must say it really dresses the bike from the front angle. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? I didn't really want to drill a hole in the front finder to mount it. It has the double sided tape anyway. If i had it to do over again, I would use the double sided tape only. Aling it 2 or 3 times before you set it on with the two way tape. Buy some extra two way tape and forget about the honda clip. It is a pain to line up and will not fit exact. I did not drill the fender and believe the two way tape will hold. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
