(3 stars) reviewed on 05/20/08 by(rswhite) from Frisco, TX, United States, for a 2004 Black / Burgundy 1800 VTX1800R (Retro) wrote: Had these bags now for two years. Within six months the rivits which hold the strap to the bottom of the bag pulled out. Just recently one of the flap snaps broke. Honda could do a better job at reinforcing these. Otherwise good looks, easy installation, plenty of room and generally heavy duty materials. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(3 stars) reviewed on 10/23/06 byTommy (RetroRocket) from Wilmington, NC, United States, for a 1800 VTX1800R (Retro) wrote: Look great, perfect design for the Retro. No locks, takes time to remove & install. Very stable, don't leak. Great bags as long as you plan to leave them on all the time and you don't need them to lock. Have heard of some folks having problems with the plastic locks breaking but mine are holding up great. Review Details 4 out of 5 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? (3 stars) reviewed on 10/20/03 byLuis Hernandez (aldociello) from Miami Shores, FL, United States, for a 1800 VTX1800R (Retro) wrote: Bags are spacious, however have no secured means of locking. Also I have found this bag to require frequent maintenance, it tends to get dull and lusterless quickly. Also the buckle leaves a scartch mark on the front of the bag.
