Good bags. Hold lots of stuff. Look good. Easy to open & close. The parallelogram shape sometimes makes larger items hard to fit in. Could not bolt the passenger seat back down with the yoke running underneath. I replaced the passenger seat with a solo luggage rack, so the yoke passes under. It would be nice to be able to affix the bags to the brackets without the yoke.

I first bought these about a year ago when I bought my 2008 750 Shadow, thinking how much cheaper than the real leather ones they were. The sales girl at the dealer's Parts Desk told me I should go for the more expensive ones... should have listened. I first had to replace them when the stitching came undone within the first six months. The warranty is only six months, but though I was a few weeks late they let it slide. The replacement pair looked good for four months, until the buckle strap popped right out of the bag! Two pair busted in less than a year - if I'm going to have to spend $600 on bags, I might as well as get hard ones that will last. P.S. - If you install them in the reverse direction than in the illustration (with the straps "\\" instead of "//"), they will not push up behind the rear indicators. In fact, I could not get them on the other way.
