Installation was a breeze, you have to remove the screws holding down the trim on the tank. Just be aware that the same screw heads also hold the speedometer, which doesn't need to be removed. (I did...and it took a few minutes to line everything up again) Also, be aware that the pouch is removable by twisting it and removing it from the socket. I didn't realize it when I first ordered this. This looks sharp, and it hides the minor scratches I put in the lower part of my tank from my jacket buckle.

Easy to install. Look for just the necessary screws to remove, leave the ones around the speedometer itself alone. Good place to tuck your cell phone or wallet.
