Firtst, I thought they sent the wrong model. You only need to take out the bottom 3 allen screws and take the gas cap off. The assembly lifts up, and you fit it under the assembly. Love having a small storage area right in front of me. Update: Velcro doesn't stay very well on the pouch; once I installed my windshield, the pocket kept comming open.
