Also behind the flaps I took a needle that you use to inject meat with marinating sauce and I filled it with plumbers goop (which you can buy at any lowes store) and stuck it inside the leather. Once I squirted it in the leather I squished it, left it for a couple of hours and it hardened up and it don't sag anymore. Works great! Review Details 8 out of 8 members found this review helpful. (4 stars) reviewed on 12/27/04 bySam (screecy) from Havana, FL, United States, for a 2004 1100 Shadow Spirit wrote: Bad News First - On my Fats shield, the tri-pouch holes were too big and poorly centered so I used the fender washer fix; it works. The outer holes need to be 'relieved' a bit more so that they actually clear the shield cap screws. Otherwise, the unit will bind up and warping will occur. The tri-pouch is a bit wider than the Fats shield. It's not really enough to notice but I know it's there and it bugs me. It may be enough to catch rain as it comes off the shield. I'm not sure how I'm going to fix that. Good News - Despite it's mounting flaws the tri-pouch is a good looking item that provides a fair amount of very handy storage. Hopnel needs to tweak its dimensions and it will be a great add-on. Sam Review Details 7 out of 7 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(3 stars) reviewed on 10/02/04 bySOLER (soler) from , , for a 0 1100 Shadow Spirit wrote: I just got this installed. It's nice, tho I don't like how it blocks the top of the speedo. It also sticks out on each side about a half inch, and creates some wind noise. As others have said, the mounting holes are big, requiring fender washers to secure it with the MF nuts. Time will tell how I like it, if I keep it. Update 1 Apr 07. I still have it on the bike. It is real handy to put stuff in, but the big middle pocket is only good for when I park, because if I put anything in it I can't see the speedo on my Spirit.
