They were on the bike when I got it. These pipes are loud, but not so loud they trigger the noise cameras in California.

Pipes look good and was easy to install. They need a bigger flang where they go into the head. Pipes sound good just not loud enough for me. Baffles were a bit of a pain to get out. I had to get a slide bar to remove them. Made it louder but still not loud enough. May have to tune them. Never had to remove the center stand to remove the old pipes or put the new ones on. It also took 2 months to get my pipes.

2 hours and a phone call or two will 'get'r done!'. Be sure to purchase new copper exhaust gaskets as well. These pipes are awesome, very throaty but not obnoxious. It is raining tonight so I can't actually take it out for a ride. Additional instructions follow. As I started removing the stock exaust I found an entire 'exhust system' up inside the frame. I was reluctant to remove this amount of metal but then realized that part of the overheating problem I have had comes from the 'exhust box' that sits directly beneath the rear cylinder. By installing a full pipe system it removes all this heat and weight! Not mentioned in the Jardine instructions is the fact the Left passenger foot peg mounts directly to the exhust box. Once the stock exhaust system is removed you have to obtain a new 9mm nut to remount that passenger peg. The biggest 'trick' to removing the stock rear header is to drop the flange first then spread the 'retainer' ring of the header. This allows the flan...
