Side bracket (for mtg to sissy bar bracket - not included as shown) are not chrome plated. Not completey visible but not sure how these will hold up over the years. It isn't very big and as such isn't very practical but a big rack would look silly. It is plenty big enough to get a day pack on. Installation wasn't too difficult.
