The only draw back is a different ride set up but compaired to the stock one....much better! Would recommend the floor boards! These controls were really easy to install. The directions say that you have to remove the front exhaust pipe, but you don't. Took me less then 2 hours to complete, and I took my time. Very easy to install. The directions tell you to take off right side header, but if your cafefull, you don't need to. plenty of clearance to drop the stock setup down and then take bolts out of brake cylinder. Keep them lubricated and clean to avoid problems. If the brake side drags you can easily burn out the whole rear brake system (rotor, caliper,pads) No floor boards...not the look I'm after but I rigged a stirrup of sorts with Kuryakyn pegs. I suggest you check the look and feel of them out on a bike first..they feel great to me on my 1400 but no so good on my friends bike (a vulcan) so check them out!!
