If your looking to get away from that cramped feeling on your bike, this is an awesome way to go if your to stretch your legs out. It defiantly gave me more room to stretch my legs and the first thing I noticed when I test drove it was the ease of the controls (shifting-breaking) over the stock controls...Love it, what an all around improvement over stock. (4 stars) reviewed on 03/31/11 byKel / Preach Cherry (Preach1951) from Walgett, NSW, , Australia, for a 1994 Black White Pearl, 1100 Shadow VT1100C wrote: LIke nmost of the gear I bought nfrom cruiser Customizing, the quality and workman ship excellent, looks good on the bike. pushes forward 3 or so inches. Both the foot brake and the gear lever could have been made with a slight bend outwards at the end of the foot pegs as you have to bend your foot in to get to both pedals, not very good for braking and uncomfortable. needs a longer peg for the brake to make it comfortable to use. I had a problem with the gear lever as having put a new chrome cover on the bike the lever rubs up against the cover, therefore had to modify the arm from the spline to the lever. Apart from that its a nice piece of Chrome. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(4 stars) reviewed on 12/14/07 byAaron (agudenkauf) from Tucson, AZ, United States, for a 2001 Deep cherry red with ghost flames 1100 Shadow VT1100C wrote: Chrome and steel are high quality. Very heavy/sturdy construction. You will NEED to verify which exhaust pipes they will work with though. And be very sure, I called customer service when ordering the Jardine Slashcuts (17-1907-01) to verify fitment and they said it was good - they lied. Had to modify the mount slightly to get them to work. Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 05/12/05 byironhead (ironheadpja) from Vernon Rockville, CT, United States, for a 1993 1100 Shadow VT1100C wrote: Pricey, but a must have if comfort is a high priority. At 6'1", the added 3-4" forward does the job. A good solid product. Installation is simple if you leave the mounting bolts out about a half inch until all connections and peg adjustments are made. Comfort and chrome in one product. Review Details 4 out of 4 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

I found a used set of forward controls with mini floor boards and love them. The fit and finish is very good. They give me many positions for my feet. The only down side is you must not have an engine / hiway guard. I am researching this I miss the added safty. They are very expensive new but I probably would buy them new, comfort is very important to me. Review Details 3 out of 3 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
