I am 6' 1" and was feeling cramped. I found a used set of forward controls with mini floor boards and love them. The fit and finish is very good. They give me many positions for my feet. The only down side is you must not have an engine / hiway guard. I am researching this I miss the added safty. They are very expensive new but I probably would buy them new, comfort is very important to me.
