Was surprised to find out I have a CA model V-Star, so I also had to get the Canister relocation bracket. Installation was straight forward and easy. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? (3 stars) reviewed on 10/15/06 bySATA adams (redsoxo4) from glenpool, OK, United States, for a 2004 650 V-Star Classic wrote: Bought two of these one for each bike. We ride alot and one of the bolt holes stripped out from so many oil changes. Installed this and it leaked. Took the plate to a machine shop to surface it and its doing ok now. I also took the other plate to have it machined before install, I highly recommend this...If you want to save a few bucks on oil changes, WIX filter number is 51358, its black but looks ok. Using this filter assy. will take more oil, about 10 ounces or so. I am dissappointed because it leaks out of the box. Hope others have better luck.
