excellent replacement for relocation kit oil filter.it looks good.I use the chrome one instead of black. it cools off the oil while is protected by front engine guard.

I guess not all Jardine kits came with the chrome cover, probably depending on price. What concerns me is the exposed filter to the elements and possibility of puncturing it. On the other hand, not being covered has to help cool the oil down some. I have seen some other brands advertise 15-25 degree temp drop in the oil with an uncovered filter. Whatcya gonna do with so many decisions to be made? I'm leaning towards staying cool, and using an uncovered chrome filter.

This is a more convenient alternative to Jardine's original oil filter chrome cover. The chrome quality as well as the filtration system seems to be as good as the K & N oil filter but costs much less.

Bought this because the filter cover on the relo kit takes a beating being down in front of the engine. I figured it would be better to get a new chrome filter each time to keep it looking good.

Just a little extra chrome. Might be a little hard to keep clean, as it is located behind the front tire. But what the heck.
