(5 stars) reviewed on 10/21/10 by(dysfunctionalji) from , , for a 1100 V-Star Classic wrote: I guess not all Jardine kits came with the chrome cover, probably depending on price. What concerns me is the exposed filter to the elements and possibility of puncturing it. On the other hand, not being covered has to help cool the oil down some. I have seen some other brands advertise 15-25 degree temp drop in the oil with an uncovered filter. Whatcya gonna do with so many decisions to be made? I'm leaning towards staying cool, and using an uncovered chrome filter. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

The chrome quality as well as the filtration system seems to be as good as the K & N oil filter but costs much less. Review Details 2 out of 2 members found this review helpful.
