The installation of these pipes went okay. The instructions in the box said to put the bike on the center stand. This was okay for the removal of the stock pipes. We fought with the rear pipe with the center stand down for a few minutes and decided to take the stand off. We had a couple of extra hands in the garage and they held the bike upright while we slipped the rear pipe into place. It also helped to put the rear wheel onto a block for a little more clearance. The pipes sound great. I am looking forward to the next big ride. Thanks to Troy, Tim and Rob for the help.

MOST HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS EXHAUST. I lucked out and found a 1995 virago 1100 in most excellent condition with only 5900 miles on it. Almost bone stock. First thing to change was the exhaust. But how do you know if you (and others) will like the sound? With these Jardine's you will most likely not be disappointed. Especially if you have a trusted friend ride your bike for you so you can hear it through town. Self-installation took me only about an hour with no special tools. Fit was next to perfect. Price was a bargain for the quality and result. Last but not least Cruiser Customizing's website is easy to use, well set-up, very competitively priced, order was on time, you get the idea. I will be ordering from them again as my personnel funding allows. Order these for your virago and enjoy!

Took out the baffels (loud pipes save lives)They sound good. Hit the throttle and the person that is sitting at the stop sign ready to pull out in front of you looks again. Baffles come out easy, drill 2 rivets in each pipe.

I bought these pipes second hand (like new) from a club member as an interim step to buying the system I really want - which I haven't figured out yet. Nice sound, loud but not too loud. Finish is nice. Didn't have to rejet which is a good thing.
