7 years ago, my wife bought her Joe Rocket Ballistic, size M, when she was working out at Curves 4-5 times a week. Heading into the sun on a 25mph road, a driver didn't see her on her yellow bike, with a neon yellow armored jacket, a full silver helmet, long pants and sturdy leather shoes. OUCH! The Jacket and Helmet saved her from any serious injury. One of our sons in his 20's has used the jacket for skate boarding at night on the hills of Providence. He loves it, too.

Love the jacket, but it is far from waterproof. Finally got to test it in a good rain the other day. My chest was soaked, and inner elbows were soaked and of course up the sleeves a little. Not impressed for a $300 CDN jacket.
