(5 stars) reviewed on 11/26/11 byJack Goebel (goebeltcon) from Vernon, BC, for a 2009 Fully customized Black and chrome 1900 Raider wrote: I love the jacket purchased it with the bike from the dealer in 2009 basically for its protection I paid $400.00 for it. I live in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada and it gets very hot here in the summer. So warm that I just can't use it. I can feel the vents working when I do Use it which is always on the highway and cooler weather in town. Its comfortable and the fit is excellent. I would recommend this Jacket to anyone looking. (5 stars) reviewed on 05/11/11 byDodo (ILL_Nino) from Seffner, FL, United States, for a 2005 650 V-Star Silverado wrote: I love this jacket, got it cause it looks like a cruiser jacket and fits like a sports jacket. I live in Florida, it's convertable so I can use it nearly all year round. Fits like a glove except the back (too much material). The armor is great, make me feel safer. Inner pocket is so useful. Outter pockets' zippers are hard to grab wearing cloves, they tuck in. Used it this past winter, unusally cold for florida, added a fleece with a collar and good gloves then rode for a couple hours in high 30's. Had to stop cause my legs got cold, getting chaps for next year. Remove the side pannels and inner vest and it vents well enough to ride in our 80 degree weather. About to hit the 90's this summer, gonna test it in our humidity come the rainy sseason. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
(5 stars) reviewed on 12/23/08 byRyder (MC4life) from Redwood City, CA, United States, for a 2003 1800 VTX1800C wrote: Almost perfect leather jacket for my riding. Very soft comfortable sexy leather but still has excellent armor in the elbows, shoulders and FULL spine protector, not like others with just some foam. I travel between the coast and central California, not unusual to have a 20-25 degree temperature difference. This jacket has hiddenzip out panels under the arms that cover mesh underneath! I usually stop halfway to gas up and remove the panels and zip out liner and I am good to go till about 85 degrees, very comfy. One thing I will say below 50 degrees I usually put on a thin fleece jacket the wife got at walmart for $12 and it keeps me almost too toasty down to the 40's. I would like to see them come out with a full sleeve liner, but at the price I paid here it was one of my best ever purchases! Review Details 9 out of 10 members found this review helpful. I wish the lining was a full one but the jacket fits and wears really well. my wrists are a little chilly on cold rides but thats expected. Hoping the Sonic gloves help compensate.
