This is the sixth bike I've owned since 1965, and the third Honda. I've owned two Harley's - a 1965 Scat, 175cc 2-stroke, and a 1976 1200cc Superglide - both a total disappointment. The Honda's - a 1972 450cc and a 1976 750cc Sport, along with this 2002 VTX 1800 R, have all been absolutely fantastic machines. The VTX is by far and away an absolute joy to ride - power, comfort and style.
