I bought this when I bought my bike, it was back ordered and came in several weeks later. First thing I noticed was the flame embossing was only on the lower seat. There were no pictures for the flame gel seat for a Custom in the catalog but there was for the Classic. That seat showed flames on the back seat also, thats what I was expecting. There is a Vulcan symbol on the back seat, but having flames on it would look sweet. I've had it almost 3 months and it started getting white dots all over the seat. I took it to the dealer, they said the dye is coming off? Ok. So they ordered me a new one, which is still back ordered. They said it could take 6-8 weeks! Comfort wise its better than stock, I dont think about my butt like I did with the stock seat. Update: now waiting for January 2009 for replacement seat....... Update: I got my replacement seat in March, when I was switching straps on the seat at the dealer, I noticed one of the bolts wouldn't tighten (stripped) but the strap ...
