(3 stars) reviewed on 06/19/09 byJohn Mosley (Jigsaw1450) from Millville, NJ, US, for a 2006 Black 1600 Vulcan Nomad wrote: I want to chrome my bike so I buy the chrome items but, the prices are high. Curiser customizing direct has the best prices; chrome parts are just high cost parts. Bolts into place as directed. Both metric and standard size wrenches needed. I have Vance & Hines pipes tight on space, but no real fitting problems. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(4 stars) reviewed on 02/26/09 byCory Strobel (cstrobel) from Medicine Hat, AB, Canada, for a 2005 1600 Vulcan Nomad wrote: looks great, fairly easy to install. The only issue I had was with the wording of the instructions. When I installed as the instructions said, the rail was almost impossible to install. When I did get it installed, it was so narrow at the front that the rail was under the bag. The instructions state to place the "U" of the bracket over the existing mount, this is not correct, it bolts to the outer side of the front mount. I have heard it has issues fitting with Cobra pipes, this is not correct, in my case there were no issues at all with the Cobra billet tipped pipes. These will clear the V&H Baggers pipes, but some have had problems with them clearing the Cobra pipes on the Nomad. Review Details 4 out of 5 members found this review helpful. Nice addition, really makes a big differenct. Note-you will never be able to add a trailer hitch with these in place (not that you would-may void your warranty).
