Seems to be the ticket for locking the helmet on the bike. Got this for both ends of the bars to give it a balanced look and allow for two helmets. Update - after three months of use, one of the locks has failed. Aside from the chrome peeling, I'm now concerned that it will fail when the helmet is attached. Will be looking for a better alternative.

Looks nice. Keeps helmets safe and secure. Easy to install. Chrome was peeling off as i was installing it. Will see how long it lasts.

I purchased the KEWL-231 which is a pair of locks, one for each Iso Grip, and matching keys. With the saddlebags on the Silverado you lose your factory helmet lock and I always worried about someone stealing my helmet. This accessory gives you a great alternative. The only negative comment is the D-Rings on my helmets do not fit the lock and I would be surprised to find many helmets that the D-Ring will fit. The package does include two chrome D-Ring brackets that allows any helmet to be locked which solves the problem but creates a new problem. Where do you keep the chrome brackets? Luckily, I have that super handy windshild bag which gave me a perfect place to keep the brackets when not in use.

Now I can lock both of the helmets up with no problem.Update: After 3 years, the lock gave out and I had to buy a new one. I was at a Casino and when I put the key in, it just spun. Not a good thing because you could not cut the strap holding the D-ring. Your strap would be useless. After 20 minutes it finally unlocked.I went to Cruiser Customing in Livermore and bought a new one.

Look real good with the grips. Have to use the extention on helmit , ring to large for lock. Also got a pair for symetrical reasons.

By far one of the most functional things I have bought so far. Since I have the Silverado, I have the useless helmet lock behind the saddle bag. I have not been satified with the way any of the relocation solutions have looked. I also don't like the looks of the after market bolt on locks. This, in my opinion, is the best solution that I have seen. It looks good on the end of the grip, and it solves the problem of not having a lock. I bought the matched set so I would have one on the other side and it works very well with the Throttle Boss. I'm glad that I didn't settle for something else.
