Do not count on this product to last. One of mine went into "always locked" mode while I was over 150 miles from home. It had to be destroyed to be removed from my helmet. This was a big pain in the @$$. The other one hit the bin once I got home and removed it. I'm using a cable gun lock these days. A whole heck of a lot cheaper!

Bought this to have somewhere to hang wife's helmet. It works very well and I'm quite happy with it.

I got the pair keyed alike. (#231) Very easy to install. Look and work great. Now I don't have to worry about my helmet falling off bike or disappearing.

Needed a place to lock the helmets. A really good concept by Kewl Metal. Got two so I'd be sure to have two adapters. Glad I did as I needed them. Saved a nickel also.

Looks very good on the end of the grips. I ordered the matched set of 2. The locks are there to keep the honest folks honest. Price is high but the idea is so neat it is worth it. I did need to move the rings around on the helmet to extend deep enough into the lock but this is explaned in the instructions. Update 1-2-06...One side has failed and will no longer open.

Finally a helmet locking system that works great and actually adds to the look of the bike. I purchased the keyed alike pair so my passenger and I both have a place to store our helmets. I was disappointed when Kawasaki only put one lock on this bike. To add insult to injury the installation of any saddle bag system (either hard or soft) blocks access to that lock. That said I have been carrying my helmet around everywhere I go. I have seen other aftermarket lock systems but they have to be clamped onto a piece of tubing (frame, handle bar, etc.). In addition their universal box-like design doesn't add anything to the look of the bike (if anything it takes away from the flowing of lines).

I wished I would have thought of these they are going to be on all cruisers. They were very ingenious on designing these. I almost ordered the big bulky locks and saw these they work great and look great. I only ordered 1 but I will order a second one for the other grip.
