After shopping around for new exhausts for my 1996 Tour deluxe, and realizing that you couldn't fit slip on mufflers, I decided to give these a try knowing that I would have to modify the existing system. I'm no mechanic but it only took about 3 hours to do the job including cutting off the old mufflers and modifying the brackets. The bike now looks & sounds great, Sincerely recomend these pipes, I chose the turn out tips & I'm glad that I did.

Not a ton of pipes to choose from for the Royal Star, but these have a quite low rumble and hear them fine when you get on the throttle. Just right now that I've outgrown "real loud" pipes ...

Very loud when you get on it. Nice tone when cruising and at slow speeds in town. For the price you really can't go wrong. Di not have to re-jet. Fuel MPG still 40+ on long runs and 2-up.

Bought these as a second choice (really wanted Vance & Hines, but they don't make pipes for the Venture). I was very surprised when I started the bike after installation. Nice low rumble and great sound.
