(5 stars) reviewed on 07/08/12 byDan (silvershadow07) from Jersey Shore, PA, United States, for a 2007 Silver 1100 Shadow Spirit wrote: Wiring the item was easy. Putting the springs in the switch was a little tricky. Overall the Signal-Minder is exactly what I was looking for. I ride in big groups and the escort function will come in handy as well as the 4way flashers. Should be standard equipment on all bikes from the factory! (3 stars) reviewed on 03/20/12 byGreg H (GregFlorida) from Fort Lauderdale, FL, United States, for a 2011 900 Vulcan Classic LT wrote: This unit works ok for turn signal cancel. I set it for canceling the flashers after 10 seconds. Much better than forgetting to turn off the flasher. I have not had success with disengaging the turn signal actuator latch. There is not enough room for the springs or pads. For now I have to remember to push in the turn signal switch after every use. Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

(5 stars) reviewed on 12/17/11 byPsyche (psyche44) from South Bay, CA, United States, for a '07 Red Darkside 900 Vulcan Custom wrote: Seems to work just great. I switched everything over to LEDs, and then all my lights flashed. I installed this, and nothing worked until I installed two LEDs counter to each other in my dash indicator. Those LEDs don't work to good, but the rest of the bike works great. I now have LED turn signals and running light. Once I found out where this little guys pugs in, installation was a breeze. For those of you ridding a Vulcan, it's under the seat, in the box in front of the battery. You will need to install the ground cable. I did have to call customer support, because of the dash indicator, and the tech walked me though it with easy. He was willing to work with me if I still had issues. But when I found this and it was only a little more money then the other units I was looking at I thought the extra features would be nice. I have already gotten into the habit of hitting the cancel button on my signals all the time but I think everyone can relate to leaving it on at least once. This unit is a great backup in case you forget. The install wasn't too bad but I did have to make a few inquiries to Kisan. They were very responsive and helpful with all my questions. The main issue was a humming noise coming from the wires, they said this was normal due to the voltage and Hz they were poling the lines at. You can't hear it with the bike running so it is no big deal. I also installed the springs into the signal light switch but I got some wired functionality from it (if you didn't hold the button for long enough when turning right the left signal would come on. This could probably be fixed but I de... Review Details Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
