Easy to set up and throw on the bike. There are some realy good videos out there if you get stuck. Will add more in a month or so once I have done some K's on it to find out how my economy goes.

Don't expect power gains -- the reason K&N took 4 years to make a filter for this bike is that there was no real performance advantage to be had. I think throttle response may be improved and there is certainly decreased popping/backfiring from my modified pipes, presumably because the mildly increased air flow means less unburnt fuel. Of course the real advantage is the million mile guarantee and never having to buy another air filter, and for that alone it's worth the money. Plus you get to put a K&N sticker on your bike...

I can really feel a difference in the bike's power band, especially when you get on it coming out of the hole. Felt like the bike couldn't get enough air in it's lungs before. I also drilled out some additional some holes on the backside of the air box to bring in more air. Being on the backside I don't have to worry about water getting in there if I get caught in the rain.
