Though the image here is very poor quality, the air filter certainly is NOT! In fact, K&N has a ONE MILLION MILE guarantee on the filter. You simply wash the filter off with warm (hot) flowing water, re-oil it to the original "out of the box" consistency, slap it back on the bike and ride on! The absolute best filter in the world. You spent thousands of dollar for your ride ... so protect it! You would be stoooopid to use anything else! The "air box" is a very tight fit to get out and in the frame, so installation is a struggle ... but no matter what air filter you would buy it's the same hassle to get into the air box.
