Takes a little time to install, as you have to remove the gas tank, but you have to do this anyway to replace the filter. I replaced my plugs about 100 miles ago, and that made a world of difference. Just put this K&N on, and can't really feel any difference. Regardless, it's the last filter I'll ever buy, so it's worth it. (Got it for a steal on eBay...)

I had my bike in for some warranty work and asked the dealer to install it since it was there (he charged twenty bucks). I would have done it myself otherwise. I can't tell any significant difference in response but at least I don't have to change the filter again for a long time (if ever).
