I bought this item about a year ago. Obviously it's easy to install. One thing I am not sold on is whether it actually improves or enhances horsepower at all. I do feel that the bike breathes easier but that does not mean that the horsepower is increased only that the bike performs more smoothly. Perhaps that smoothness is mis-interpretted as "new or additional" horsepower. The really great thing about this air filter is that it is re-usable for years without having to buy those paper filters at the outrageous prices that are charged for them. In the long run saving money is the real motivator for me.

As easy to install as pulling off the cover and putting it back on. Then say it should breath better but hard to tell if there is any increase in HP without a dyno run.

I had this air filter for (8) years. Do you know how much money,I save on air filters. It takes about 10 min. to clean, but it takes time to dry first.

Works great! I love K&N. Added a little more power from the get go. The filter is not an exact match to the stock filter and requires you to wiggle it a bit to get it on (stock filter is straight across the top while K&N is heart shaped).

And to think I paid for one air filter and never have to buy one again...that alone is worth it's weight in gold, and on top of that, the performance benefits....WOW!

Just got the filter but I did put it in and K&N filters are just the best. Now I just need to figure out what pipes I want to put on it. Anyone with good idea`s just send me an e-mail with your thoughts on the best sounding and designed pipe, I would appreciate any input. But there is a better sound with the good air flow already.
