It saves ytou the cost of getting a new filter for a few service intervals. can be messy to apply so use newspapers or tarp.

Used this for the first time over the weekend - amazing how much dirt, bugs and grit come out. After seeing it, I'll be paying much more attention to regular cleanings. Also, way cheaper than replacing the filter, even if you use a low quality filter. This kit makes the K&N filter a good value
