I couldn't use K&N's filter because theirs only fits the '99-'03 bikes. I have an '04, so I had to get the Speedstar instead. I think this is the best looking filter for the '04 Roadstar Silverado, at least it looks great with the Hard Krome 3" pipes. I had the dealer install both the filter, pipes, and the rejet kit. Didn't performance test, but might, since I can't say that I truly notice any HP increase. Looks good on the bike though, better than stock. Simple install.
