I didn't compare prices, but $14 for an oil filter seems like a lot...but what isn't for a motorcycle. I really like the 17mm nut on the end. I had a heck of a time getting the stock filter off, because I was too stubborn to buy a filter wrench for what would be a 1 time use. Other than that, how do you rate an oil filter...unless later you find it hasn't been doing it's job.

Good quality, easy to remove with a wrench. Cost more than other filters but I believe they do a better job of filtration.

These are very good filters and although they may cost a little more, the time they save you changing them out is worth every penny

Great oil filter. K&N quality and fantastic ease of removal due to nut welded on cap. Always have used K&N oil and air filters, never have had to look back.

Got this for the VTX. That nut they have welded on the end makes it a snap to get the filter off.

Great product, I hated trying to tighten my old oil filters with a strap wrench, but K & N conveniently has a nut on the end and there's just enough clearence to get a socket wrench in there. I will always get K & N oil filters from now on. (they also have it in chrome)
