Great fitlter with the best built in feature ever... the 13mm Nut welded to the bottom so a filter wrench is not necessary! Way to go K&N Review Details 1 out of 1 members found this review helpful. (4 stars) reviewed on 09/14/05 byRocky (ufutsnuget) from Wind Gap, PA, United States, for a 2006 1300 VTX1300R (S) Retro wrote: Bought part# KN-204 for the VTX-1300R. This filter should be easier to remove using a 17mm wrench. This will eliminate the use of an oil filter wrench. I normally use an amsoil oil filter (with amsoil 10W-40) but did not have one available. I feel this oil filter is pricey. My dealer carries another brand (I don't remember the name) that is half the price of the K&N filter and he said it is exactly the same filter only without the 17mm nut. He did not have the cheaper one in stock for my bike so I bought the K&N instead. Review Details 0 out of 4 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |

Don't know if it's all cracked up to be. A $2.00 Purolator has been know to work even better. Review Details 0 out of 2 members found this review helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No |
