Needed after a year with exposed filters. use oil sparingly. Have oil coming from out of the filters, on to the bike after two months of use.

I bought this probably two years ago. Finally used it a couple months ago. The good news is I noticed a boost in power. The bad news is I used too much oil during the re-lube. The oil has been leaking out for for two months. I think it has finally stopped leaking. The directions said to generously re-lube. I guess I over did it.

Bought this in order to service my Thunder Air Kit filter. It came with the K&N filter. Never used the recharge kit before. If you just follow the directions you cannot go wrong. While I had the filter removed I also gave the throttle body a little shot or two of carb cleaner. Word to the wise.. Do not oversoak the filter element. It is very easy to overestimate the amount of recharge oil. Trust me, better to have a thin coat than to oversoak and have the excess sucked into an injector. Now with clean filter and correct recharge the filter once again had the red/pink color it had originally.

This product is need to keep your K&N filter clean and working properly. Easy to use and comes with easy for follow directions. I've found that by leaving on the Thunder rain guard it keeps the filter much cleaner and keeps the small grains of sand that they use on the roads here in Spokane during the winter from clogging the filter. Proper maintenace with this product will greatly extend the life of your filter and keep your bike running strong.

If you have a K&N air filter you need this. Make your air filter new again.
