if you want LEDs you need this. Install was easy, with the assistance of my shop manual (used the wire diagrams to ensure I was hooking up to the proper wires). I also used the "suitcase" connectors provided. I bought this at the dealer because I forgot to order this on line and the dealer had it in stock.

Needed to add two of these to the bike in order for the EC Turn Signal Conversion kit to work with the Kuryakyn Tru-Sphere LED bulbs. Took a week or so to troubleshoot things to figure this out, but all is working well now.
