High beams really gives me much more distance than before. Gives the bike more of a custom look. I have an '04 Road Star and did not need the adapter ring. Check out www.adjureinc.com to see if you will need one for your particular bike. Lamp tends to fog up in the mornings but clears up rather quickly. Overall, very pleased with this product. That being said ... here's my problem. I ordered Kuryakyn, but received Adjure. And, the package had the Kuryakyn part number on the label. Now they are very similar with the same list price. But when I called, the CC person tried to make it sound like I got a better deal. I didn't want to go through the whole return/exchange deal so i kept it. Others may not be so forgiving.
