I picked this windshield over the others because of the angle adjustment and the mounting. The mounting hardware does not clamp to the shock tubes so it is a cleaner look. You need to decide which angle you like the windsield at before complete install. The cross frame mounting nuts had plastic washers under them which I removed, to me they made no sense to leave on. I did apply some removable loctite to the acorn nuts just because of vibration. I left all mounting hardware and the nuts loose until it was all mounted on the bike and then gradually tightened everything.
