A Memphis Shades Batwing Fairing is a stylish and practical addition to your Harley Davidson or Metric Cruiser. Not only do they look extremely cool by giving your bike an instant "bagger" look, but they offer comfort, protection and storage that you just cannot get from a naked bike. If you ride your motorcycle frequently, you have surely been on a ride where the weather suddenly turns nasty. A Batwing Fairing deflects wind and rain away from the most critical parts of your body allowing you to ride out the storm without freezing your butt off. A Batwing Fairing also provides protection from road debris such as rocks, sand or sticks kicked up by other vehicles. This is especially important when wearing a half helmet, an open face helmet, or no helmet at all. If you have ever been hit in the face, chest, arms or hands by flying debris, you know that it is not a pleasant experience.

Adding a Tri-Pouch gives you extra storage space that is easily accessed without getting off of your bike and allows you to keep your valuables within site as your ride. Add a stereo system to your Batwing Fairing and you will have a truly pimp’n ride. A Batwing Fairing is easily mounted and removed using a no hassle Trigger Lock Mounting Kit (Sold Separately). Batwing Fairings can be painted to give your bike a truly custom look, or you can run them out of the box with their standard gloss black finish.

Memphis Shades exclusive No-Tool Trigger-Lock mount kits feature a detach system that allows you to quickly and easily remove or install your fairing. Trigger-Lock kits are a combination of CNC machined, black or polished aluminum plates, gray polymer bushings and glass filled nylon latches for a clean appearance that is built to last.

Batwing Fairings are pre-drilled and fitted with push-out hole plugs for easy wind deflector installation which provide increased downward air flow. Windshields are available in four heights and seven translucent colors, plus clear and solar (a light tint with 72 percent visible light transmission), and several trims for added style are also available. Awsome product and was easy to install after watching video on the website. You will need the hardware and windshield made for your bike. I used the trigger lock system so I can removed easy. I placed this and the lock system on my bike in about hour.

Pretty easy to install.  Making sure everything was straight took me the longest.  My only complaint was that the mount was not included.  I had to order seperatly along with the windshield.

Don't tighten everything down until you have it all put together.  Would prob help to have an additional person to help hold the bike up while your making sure everything is straight.

The batwing worked great. I order the 12 inch windshield, and the brackets to put it on, Simple bolt on process. My bike is Blue so i it needs to painted to mach.

I love it. Installation was great - 'cause I roped my neighbor into helping. It adds so much style to my bike that it feels totally different.  I get a lot of compliments on it, too, which always makes you feel like you made the right choice.  (NOTE: I went from no fairing and a full-face helmet and had to buy a half helmet to reduce the head buffeting...keep that in mind if you buy one.  I am rocking the 9" gradient black windscreen and black lowers, as well.)  I rock ear plugs, so no reason for me to get the available HogTunes, but there is a space for that.  Get the fairing and love it, too.
